Apprion Announces Integrated Support For ISA100
And WirelessHART™ Wireless Sensor Networks
Apprion Continues to Enhance Its Open, Standards-Based ION System
That Enables Industrial Facilities to Deploy Industrial Wireless Applications

Mountain View, CA – November 17, 2009 – Apprion, the leader in industrial wireless applications networks, today announced a new version of their IONizer industrial wireless networking appliance that seamlessly integrates wireless sensor network gateways based on either ISA100.11a or WirelessHART™ standards with 802.11 (WiFi) radios to support other industrial wireless applications such as mobility, location, video, and communications and to enable efficient backhaul of sensor data wirelessly.

With the addition of these two emerging standards for wireless instrumentation and monitoring, Apprion continues to enhance and extend its open, standards-based wireless applications networks that enable industrial facilities to deploy scalable, cost-effective, secure and reliable wireless applications.
