Professor Fuhr brings over 25 years of experience in the areas of communications (optical, wireless and digital), semiconductor lasers,
fiber optic sensor systems, and spacecraft experiment design. Peter is a founder and executive board member of the Wireless Industrial Networking
Alliance (WINA), a senior member of IEEE, and chairperson of the interoperability committee within the SP100 standards organization and leading the
efforts to develop the standard for wireless in industrial automation.
Professor Fuhr received his bachelors degree in physics and mathematics from Beloit College his M.S.E. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from
John Hopkins University. |
