Integrated Video Monitoring
ION's Video Monitoring is unique in its ability to monitor and manage IP-enabled cameras and the wireless network together. Using a Web-based console or mobile device, network operators can monitor the status and network activity of any IP-enabled camera. ION is also used to monitor and manage the network availability of the link to that device. When a link to an IP camera is down, operators are alerted, and may be able to remotely diagnose and resolve the issue.
Remote Video Monitoring
ION's Wireless Video Application enables authorized technicians to monitor plant activities of remote and possibly hazardous locations in the safety of their control room. By remotely monitoring all plant activity or zooming into a specific plant location, plant operators improve process monitoring and increase operational safety. In addition, mobile operators can zoom into a facility map on a handheld computer, click a camera icon, and view the images.
Alarms and Alerts
ION Video Monitoring can be continuous or incident-based. Incident based video monitoring will activate a pre-defined alarm and alert based on a specific event. Real-time event alarms and alerts are particularly helpful in remote hazardous areas that are not manually monitored by personnel onsite.
