Centralized User Dashboard
The IONosphere dashboard provides an integrated view of all data essential for wireless network management in a central location. Users can customize their dashboard screen to view specific device groups, define alerts for immediate notification and select various live video streams of cameras on the network. The IONosphere dashboard's centralized interface enables plant managers to better manage devices, data, and applications across large networks and plant areas.
Wireless Application Integration
IONosphere's architecture includes an application layer to integrate all wireless applications. The IONosphere dashboard provides access and management to all ION applications including the ION Video Monitoring Application and third party wireless applications including VoIP and condition monitoring in a central location.
Alarms and Alerts
IONosphere is the only unified system that provides comprehensive event monitoring, alerts, and alarms for multi-vendor wireless networks. Without IONosphere, administrators would have to monitor and correlate data from multiple vendor and system-specific consoles. IONosphere issues real-time text alerts about device and system status using e-mail and SMS.
Device Management & Provisioning
IONosphere automatically detects all wireless devices within the plant. This makes it easy for administrators to bring legitimate devices and systems under IONosphere management, while excluding unknown or rogue devices from accessing the plant network. Real-Time Visualization and Network Management Reports
IONosphere gathers and centralizes wireless network performance data and presents the data in table or graph format. Examples of IONOsphere's wireless reports include the Wireless Rogue Detection report, the Device Link Status report and an RF Spectrum report that shows RF spectrum signal to noise ratio (SNR) signal strength. Network administrators can use IONosphere reports to make informed decisions about whether the network needs to be tuned or expanded to meet operational goals.
Region Visualization for Mobile and Field Workers
IONosphere delivers sensor measurement, location, and condition information overlaid on a facility map. Facility maps are designed for small form factor devices to allow both field and control room personnel to quickly and easily perform and record field service functions in the context of the actual facility. Delivering state monitoring, alarms, and notification information to mobile workers in a graphical context can increase worker productivity and reduce incident response times.
Network Security Dashboard
IONosphere's Network Security dashboard provides a central view of all network security activities such as: rogue access points security summary, WiFi IDS Notifications, and a Wireless Intrusion Detection System displaying offending and vulnerable devices. IONosphere's central security dashboard provides easy, quick identification of the wireless network security status.
